Windows 10 Mobile Insider Preview Build 15252 Direct Download Link



NOTE: These are testing builds of Windows 10 Mobile Insider Preview officially released by Microsoft. These builds are under development and testing phase and may contain bugs, issues and other problems. They may also make your phone not bootable in some rare situations. So install and use these builds at your own risk.
If you are using Windows 10 Insider Preview (previously known as Technical Preview) for mobile phones, here is a good news for you. Microsoft has released a new build 15252 of Windows 10 Insider Preview for mobile phones. This build comes with fixes for many issues which are as follows:
What's New and Fixed in This Build?
Following are the new features, improvements, and fixes in this new build:
  • This build includes all the improvements from KB4038788.
  • In preparation for the release of the Windows 10 Fall Creators Update, the product version number has been updated to 1709 just like PC.
  • Fixed an issue where, on powering the screen off/on, high demand for CPU could cause several apps to crash. Background processing of photos is an example of high CPU demand. In a photo shoot session, you may have seen the Camera app crash.
  • Fixed an issue with the Messaging app where conversation text was displayed incorrectly.

At the moment you can install Windows 10 Insider Preview build in following mobile phones only:
  • HP Elite x3
  • Microsoft Lumia 550
  • Microsoft Lumia 640/640XL
  • Microsoft Lumia 650
  • Microsoft Lumia 950/950 XL
  • Alcatel IDOL 4S
  • Alcatel OneTouch Fierce XL
  • SoftBank 503LV
  • VAIO Phone Biz
  • MouseComputer MADOSMA Q601
  • Trinity NuAns NEO
Some mobile phones are still not supported in this build. But Microsoft is working hard to make Windows 10 Insider Preview build to support all the remaining Lumia and non-Lumia phones.
Windows 10 Insider Preview for Phones Highlighted Features:
The first preview build of Windows 10 for phones comes with many new features and enhancements. Some worth to mention features are as follows:
  • New option to set full-size background image for Start Screen
  • More quick actions in Action Center which can be expanded up to 3 rows
  • New interactive notifications which allow you to take direct actions
  • Enhancements to speech-to-text capability
  • Enhancements to Photos app
  • Cortana available to US-English only

Supported languages in Windows 10 Insider Preview for Phones:
Windows 10 Insider Preview for phones comes with support for following languages:
Arabic (Saudi Arabia), Catalan (Spain), Czech (Czech Republic), Dutch (Netherlands), English (UK), English (US), Finnish (Finland), French (Canada), French (France), German (Germany), Hindi (India), Italian (Italy), Japanese (Japan), Korean (Korea), Polish (Poland), Portuguese (Brazil), Russian (Russia), Simplified Chinese (China), Spanish (Spain), Spanish (Mexico/LatAm), Swedish (Sweden), Thai (Thailand), Traditional Chinese (Taiwan), Turkish (Turkey) and Vietnamese (Vietnam).
Please keep in mind that Windows 10 Insider Preview for phones is a testing build and you might face bugs and issues after installing it. So install it if you feel you are ready for it.
How to Update or Install This New Build?
If you are already using Windows 10 Insider Preview on your phone, you can update to this new build by following these simple steps:
  • Open Settings app and go to Update & Recovery
  • Now open Phone Update and then tap on Check for Updates option
Now it'll automatically check for new updates and will install the new build on your mobile phone.
Please note that this new build is only available on the Fast ring. If you want to change from Fast ring to Slow ring or vice versa, open Windows Insider app on your phone, log in with your Microsoft account and then change ring settings.
